Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of the IUNGO Discord bot, dashboard, website, API, music features, and related services (together, the Services). By adding IUNGO to a server, signing in, creating an API key, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility and authority

You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement and any higher minimum age that applies where you live. If you use IUNGO for an organisation or community, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

You may manage a Discord server through IUNGO only when Discord reports that you have the required permissions. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of IUNGO complies with your server’s rules and applicable law.

The Services

IUNGO provides Discord server tools that may include music playback and queue control, moderation, levels, tickets, welcome and logging features, profiles, playlists, dashboards, statistics, and APIs for authorised integrations. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the service develops.

Some features depend on Discord, Lavalink, media platforms, hosting providers, and other third parties. Their availability and rules are outside IUNGO’s control.

Accounts and dashboard access

Dashboard access uses Discord OAuth. You are responsible for your Discord account and for activity performed through an authenticated session. Keep your devices and sessions secure and sign out on shared devices.

Do not attempt to access a server, user account, administrator area, or data for which you do not have permission. Tell us promptly if you believe your account, session, or access has been compromised.

Server administrator responsibilities

If you add or configure IUNGO for a server, you are responsible for:

  • choosing appropriate settings, channels, permissions, and roles;
  • telling members how the server uses IUNGO where notice is required;
  • ensuring moderators and integrations use stored data lawfully and fairly;
  • reviewing access when staff roles or responsibilities change;
  • protecting and revoking guild API keys; and
  • responding to members about server-controlled records, including moderation and level data.

Server owners and administrators control how IUNGO features are configured in their communities. IUNGO is not responsible for moderation decisions or content created by server members or administrators.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to:

  • break the law, violate another person’s rights, or breach Discord’s terms or policies;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or facilitate harm to another person;
  • distribute malware, phishing material, stolen credentials, or unlawful content;
  • bypass permissions, rate limits, authentication, security controls, or feature restrictions;
  • probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Services or their infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorised access to IUNGO data or functionality;
  • impersonate IUNGO, conceal abusive activity, or misrepresent an integration’s purpose; or
  • use music or other content in a way that infringes copyright or breaches a provider’s rules.

Reasonable testing of your own integration is permitted when it stays within documented routes, permissions, and rate limits.

API keys and integrations

Guild API keys are secrets scoped to a specific Discord server and a defined set of permissions. Developer credentials may provide broader access for IUNGO-operated services.

When you create or use an integration, you agree to:

  • request only the permissions the integration needs;
  • keep keys out of public repositories, browser code, logs, screenshots, and messages;
  • use each guild key only for its assigned server;
  • validate users and permissions before exposing controls through your product;
  • follow documented formats, limits, and security requirements;
  • revoke and replace a key promptly if it may be exposed; and
  • remain responsible for requests made with keys under your control.

We may rate limit, reject, suspend, or revoke API access to protect users, servers, or infrastructure. API routes and response formats may change. We will try to give reasonable notice for material breaking changes where practical.

Music and third-party content

Music features help users search for, queue, and play media made available by third-party services. IUNGO does not own that media and does not grant you rights to copy, distribute, publicly perform, or otherwise use it. You are responsible for having any permission required for playback or use in your location and community.

Media may become unavailable, require authentication, contain errors, or be blocked by a provider. IUNGO may disable a source or remove functionality to comply with provider changes, rights-holder requests, law, or technical requirements.

Your content and instructions

You retain any rights you hold in content you submit to IUNGO. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.

You confirm that you have the rights and authority needed to submit the content and instruct IUNGO to process it. You are responsible for content submitted through your account, server, or integration.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep IUNGO reliable, but the Services are provided on an as-available basis. Maintenance, faults, provider changes, Discord outages, network conditions, or security events may interrupt or limit features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services and may impose reasonable usage limits.

Do not rely on IUNGO as the sole record for critical moderation, legal, safety, or business information. Keep any backups your use requires.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using IUNGO at any time, remove it from your server, revoke API keys, and sign out of the dashboard.

We may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created security or legal risk, harmed the Services or another user, or used resources in a way that materially affects others. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, responsibility for prior activity, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, continue to apply.

IUNGO intellectual property

IUNGO and its software, branding, interface, documentation, and original content are owned by or licensed to the IUNGO operator and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you permission to use the Services; they do not transfer ownership.

You may refer to IUNGO accurately when describing a compatible integration. Do not imply endorsement or use IUNGO branding in a misleading way.

Disclaimers and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranties about uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or compatibility with every server, device, integration, or media source.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a permitted remedy may be limited, our liability is limited to supplying the affected service again or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again, at our option.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, IUNGO and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or for loss of data, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from the Services.

For other claims, our total aggregate liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount you paid IUNGO for the affected Services during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you paid nothing, the cap is AUD $50. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Resolving disputes and governing law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without excluding any mandatory rights or laws that apply to you. Subject to those mandatory rights, courts located in Queensland have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Services.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects your rights or use of the Services, we may provide additional notice through the website, dashboard, Discord, or another reasonable channel. Continuing to use the Services after revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
